Journey
By car, coming from Munich
- Start southeast on the A99
- Take the exit towards M3 and turn right at the fork onto M3.
- To stay on M3 take the 2nd exit at the roundabout
- After 1.4km, keep right at the fork and follow the signs towards
- München-Nord/Unterföhring/A9.
- Turn left onto Ungererstraße/B11
- Turn right towards Schenkendorfstraße/B2R
- Drive onto the A95/A96/Lindau/Garmisch-Partenkirchen slip road
- Keep left to stay on Schenkendorfstraße/B2R
- Continue on A95/E533 (signposted Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Starnberg)
- Continue on B2 until exit B23 (Fernpass/Reutte/Grainau/Garmisch) and continue on B23
- After 3.4 km turn left on Kreuzstraße and a short time later turn right to stay on Kreuzstraße.
The Hotel Almenrausch und Edelweiß is on the left side.
Arrival by train
From Munich central station take the RB 5415 in the direction of Seefeld in Tirol to Garmisch-Partenkirchen station.
Arriving by plane
From Munich Airport take the S1 in the direction of Munich East.
Get off at Munich Central Station and take the RB 59449 in the direction of Mittenwald.
Get off at Garmisch-Partenkirchen station.
